I work with schools and communities to integrate EE into classrooms and local design and programming. My projects are located in the Midwest USA and around the world. I have worked with the U.S. State Department and conducted teacher training workshops in several countries. I teach courses in sustainability and environmental education at the university level.
I am dedicated to the understanding of place through observation, creation, and conversation. To me, place is the beings, materials, energy, cycles, spaces, systems, culture, communities, and stories that surround, support, and include us.
Former classroom teacher, current Environmental Education masters student.
