I'm an associate professor of park resource management at Slippery Rock University of PA where I study metrics and outcomes of conservation education and utilize service-learning pedagogies. I teach in our online Environmental Education graduate program and our undergrad Park Resource Mgmt program.

I am passionate about connecting people to the cultural and natural resources in our beautiful landscape of the Green Mountain State. 

Nature deserves to be valued and prioritized, not only for the sake of protecting the beauty and diversity of the living world on earth, but as a fundamental principle of public health with the potential for expanding promise in our own lives.

My name is Kelly Vogelpohl.  I am officially, Early Childlood Programs Coordinator at Robinson Nature Center, part of Howard County Recreation and Parks, in Howard County, MD.  I teach and oversee the bountiful Early Childhood Programs that take place at Robinson.  My passion lies in connecting/bridging the gap between people and nature and building community around our natural world.  My best days are spent in the forest learning with little ones - climbing trees, jumping in mud puddles, creating nature art, and more.  Personally, I am a mom to three amazing school aged kiddos and the wife of a Park Ranger :).  I am excited to be a part of the NAAEE eepro community.  

I am a passionate conservationist and the creator of 'Pangolin: The Conservation Podcast'. I work for both the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. My interests include increasing the accessibility of conservation and highlighting under-appreciated species.
