Denby is a cultural practitioner, educator, and artist who lives in upcountry Maui with her two children. Born and raised on Oʻahu, Denby graduated from Punahou School and earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington, as well as a Master’s degree in Education at Heritage College, Washington. 

I have worked in the fields of EE, STEM, and Wilderness education in diverse capacities. My professional interest lie in the design and practice of anti-oppressive place-based education.

Curently working as a Member Coordinator at the ACE for the EPIC NPS division. Have worked as interpretive ranger for the NPS for a couple years. Living and working in the Eastern Sierra. Graduated from Sac State with a BA in History and Minor in Anthropology.
