Sam, a Delaware native, lives in Baltimore and manages environmental education programs for the non-profit Parks & People Foundation. His work includes guiding high school-aged youth in year-long paid internships with the goal of developing the next generation of environmental leaders.

I am the volunteer coordinator at the Minnesota Zoo, where the majority of our volunteers are interpretive volunteers, educating guests about our exhibits and conservation messages. We provide initial and ongoing training so volunteers connect people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife
