I taught middle grades education math and science from 2006-2011. I have been homeschooling my son from the beginning and he is now an 8th grade homeschool student.  During that time, we participated in park nature programs and I compiled our own curriculum when needed. I am also a park aide for Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces. I work at Harris Lake County Park in the education section. I help plan and deliver programs as well as other park operations.
