I started my career in 2022, working for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences as a birthday instructor and animal handler. In my last year of school, I began working with Wake County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space as a Park Aide at Historic Oak View County Park. While there, I developed a specialization and passion for the treatment and management of invasive species.

After graduating, I briefly worked with the North Carolina Forest Service as a Forest Health Intern on the Invasive Species Treatment team. This greatly furthered my knowledge in forest health, as well as my knowledge of flora and fauna in the Southeastern United States. I returned to Wake County to work as a Park Technician with Historic Yates Mill and Crowder County Parks where I continue to grow and gain experience.
