I'm currently a Graduate Assistant in the M.S. Natural Resources & Ecology program at SUNY Plattsburgh, where I work as a Watershed Educator with Lake Champlain Sea Grant. In this role, I develop and deliver K–12 environmental education programs that connect students with watershed science, water quality, and stewardship.

Previously, I served as a Fire Tower Steward with Friends of Poke-O-Moonshine, where I engaged hikers in conversations about fire tower history, alpine ecology, and Leave No Trace principles. I also worked as an Aquatic Invasive Species Boat Steward with the Canadarago Lake Improvement Association, educating boaters and anglers on Clean, Drain, Dry practices to help prevent the spread of invasive species.

In addition, I completed a summer of service with AmeriCorps NCCC. Working alongside restoration ecologists from the Institute for Applied Ecology in Oregon's Willamette Valley, my team removed invasive terrestrial plants to restore native prairie habitat, with a focus on protecting Kincaid's lupine, the host plant for Fender's blue butterfly. We also partnered with Westwind Stewardship Group on the Oregon Coast to improve recreational access for campers by clearing and maintaining hiking trails.

Outside of work, I'm usually hiking, paddling, fishing, or camping in the Adirondack Mountains. I also enjoy creating nature-inspired art, thrifting, and hanging out with my two fluffy cats.
