In this month's Journal of Applied Research on Children, the Children's Environmental Health Network share details of a program called "Break the Cycle" that is working to address the disproportionate impacts of climate change on children living in poor communities, who are also predominantly children of color. Specifically, this program trains students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as Tribal Colleges and Universities, to explore the challenges caused by climate change in their own communities, and develop projects that address those challenges, all with the goal of breaking the cycle of the climate change's disproportionate impact on children of color.
