Youth Forums for the Columbia River

The Youth Forums for the Columbia River, will gather young people (age 16–35) from across the basin on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in synchronized, regionally-representative, youth-led forums to convene, collate, and elevate youth voices for a better water future in the Columbia River Basin in the context of the current renegotiation of the Columbia River Treaty and the UN 2030 Water Action Agenda.

This is an opportunity for students in North America to engage in some civic engagement and also network with university students and young professionals from across British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. We also offer leadership opportunities within this project for students who want to help us with the communication of the outcomes of the Forums to decision-makers and negotiators of the Columbia River Treaty and Global Youth Movement for Water.

There's still time to register to participate in-person (until 31 January midnight PST) or virtually (until 6 February midnight PST)!
