Sustainability at the New York Botanical Garden 

This professional learning opportunity is best for teachers grades 5-12. Up to 4 CTLE hours from the New York City Department of Education are available for this course.

• This will take place at the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY. 

We will explore sustainable practices being done at the Garden and model ways to incorporate the content into your classroom. Sustainability topics will include green waste, stormwater management, and carbon uptake by trees.
