PhD graduate student assistantship to study climate change communication, collaborative learning, and collective impact in the United States.  Assistantship will cover tuition and an annual stipend. The student will work toward a PhD in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at Virginia Tech (www.frec.vt.edu), the top-rated program of its kind in the United States (see https://www.collegefactual.com/colleges/virginia-polytechnic-institute-and-state-university/news/top...).  

This is a social science assistantship under the mentorship of Professor Marc Stern (https://frec.vt.edu/people/Stern.html). The research will involve studying the outcomes of climate change adaptation workshops held in diverse areas in the United States.
