EE Alliance Spring Conference
EE Alliance Spring Conference
Get ready for this year's EEA conference on Friday, February 11, 2022! We have two sessions this year and hope to see you all for a day full of environmental education, collaboration, and professional development.
Morning Session 9 AM–12 PM ET (in-person/small group)
Experiential learning activities will take place across the region. These sites include Six Mile Cypress Slough, Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest, Cypress Cove Landkeepers, Vester Marine Field Station, Rotary Park, and more! During your field-based session, you'll learn about the impactful work taking place around Southwest Florida while meeting with fellow environmental educators to chat about their best practices and ideas. This will be a morning full of fun, learning, and adventure!
Afternoon Session 2 PM–4 PM ET (virtual)
This session will be virtual to ensure safety and to allow all to participate. We are excited to have T'Noya Thompson, a nationally recognized environmental education champion with NAAEE as the keynote speaker. In addition, we will have a Lessons Learned and Collaborative Planning session to share insights from the day and exciting updates from some of our local organizations.
