Call for Application! ESD Okayama Award 2024
Okayama City (Japan) and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board are calling for initiatives that contribute to the spread of ESD in local communities anywhere in the world and serve as models of good practice. We are looking for projects that educate and develop people to learn from each other and take action toward the creation of a sustainable society from various perspectives, such as environmental conservation, community development, inheritance of traditional culture, and diversity and inclusion, and more. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the ESD Okayama Award. We look forward to receiving your applications!
Eligibility: Organizations implementing ESD projects anywhere in the world
Number of Awards: One or Two project(s)
Prize: US $3,000 each
Deadline for Application: 12 July 2024 (Friday), 5pm (Japan Standard Time)
Award Ceremony: One representative from the organization(s) implementing the awarded project(s) will be invited to the Award Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and requested to give a presentation on the project. The scheduled date is 23 November 2024 (Saturday).

<ESD Okayama Award>
The ESD Okayama Award has been held under the joint sponsorship of Okayama City and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board※ since 2015, with the aim of honoring excellent examples of ESD in Japan and abroad, thereby supporting the activities of the award-winning project organizations and contributing to the spread of ESD activities.
