AAEE National Conference 2025: Call for Proposals

​The Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) is hosting its Biennial Conference online this year, and is inviting teachers, academics, researchers, and community and business educators to submit their proposals for presentations and workshops. The AAEE National Environmental Education Biennial Conference 2025: Collaborate, Strengthen, Advocate will span three days over three weeks in August, with each day hosted by a partner university.

The Australian Journal of Environmental Education (AJEE) will curate and host a Research Symposium on August 1 to get things started, followed by: 

  • Day 1, August 5: hosted by the Centre for Regenerating Futures at Deakin University
  • Day 2, August 13: hosted by the School of Education at Curtin University
  • Day 3, August 21: hosted by SEAE Research Centre at Southern Cross University

Proposals can be in the form of presentations or workshops, with both prioritizing online participation. 

 

Key dates leading up to the conference:

  • March 31: early-bird registration for conference opens
  • May 2: submissions due
  • June 13: applicants notified
  • June 23: presentation/workshop titles and descriptions finalized
  • June 27: program ready
  • July 11: pre-recorded presentations due
