UN Opportunity for campuses to help each become green

What will the monthly calls include?

  • Brief introductions through the chat box 10 minutes of sharing resources, success examples, challenges, etc.
  • Discussion based on participants’ needs and interests

 

Who will be on the call?

  • People from Higher Education Institutions who are doing good work around greening their campuses to share best practices
  • People from Higher Education Institutions looking to learn more about how they can green their campuses
  • Debra Rowe, President of the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development and Youth and Education Alliance Sustainability
  • Expert to facilitate and host the discussion There are many exciting and useful resources, success examples and solutions to common obstacles to be discussed.

 

Sharing best practices can be a simple yet useful way for us to learn from one another, share our experiences and support each other towards the common goal of reducing our campus’ climate impact. These monthly calls are part of the UN Environment Programme’s Youth and Education Alliance (YEA!). There is no charge and any staff person at a tertiary or higher education institution is welcome to attend as schedules allow.
