Built for Birds: Schoolyard Investigations

A Hybrid Focus Workshop for Grades 3–9 Educators
Location: Manomet Conservation Sciences (Plymouth, MA)
Dates: Friday, April 10 OR Saturday, April 11, 2026 (In-Person)

This hands-on bird box program at Manomet Conservation Sciences invites you to explore how habitat design influences bird behavior through authentic, place-based investigation. This workshop is a *new* hybrid format for Wade. This pilot program will include one in-person day (7 hours) that you will select and the remaining qualifying hours (6) asynchronous, on Google Classroom.

Cost: $250 per educator.

Professional Development Points (PDPs) and Optional Graduate Credit:

  • 13 PDPs are available without graduate credit.
  • 21 PDPs and 1 optional graduate credit from Cambridge College/Bay Path University is available for an additional $75.00. Graduate credit requires additional work.

 

Building the Storyline: Ecosystems & Interactions

A Two-Day Focus Workshop for Grades 5-8 Educators
Location: Lloyd Center for the Environment (South Dartmouth, MA)
Dates: Friday, May 8 AND Saturday, May 9, 2026

Bring new life to your science curriculum through this engaging, field-driven professional learning experience focused on coastal ecosystems and their interactions, biodiversity, and phenomena-driven instruction. 

Cost: $300 per educator.

Professional Development Points (PDPs) and Optional Graduate Credit:

  • 14 PDPs are available without graduate credit.
  • 22.5 PDPs and 1 optional graduate credit from Cambridge College/Bay Path University is available for an additional $75.00. Graduate credit requires additional work.
