Join The Youth Climate Institute and experts from Maryland Sea Grant, The Earth Commons, and Georgetown University to discuss how educators can engage their students in the topic of microplastics, and how to design student-led investigations and action projects. This virtual webinar, presented by the Youth Climate Institute, is for formal or informal educators who want to learn more about:

  • the connection between microplastics and ecosystem health;
  • current research being done; and
  • how they can investigate and take action with their students.

The Youth Climate Institute is an extracurricular, chapter-based program that provides national certification to high school students taking action against the climate crisis.

The webinar takes place on August 12, 4 PM EST. RSVP now to receive the Zoom link.
