Now that you have read some information about each option, you have been asked by the facilitator to speak to the group for 2-3 minutes to explain what you think about the options, actions, and trade-offs and to share your preferred option and activities. Remember, you are presenting the perspective of one of the four characters introduced at the beginning of this lesson. What do you say? How do the other stakeholders react?
After everyone speaks, the facilitator poses a few additional questions:
- Do we recognize particular areas of common ground or similar concerns?
- Were there any tensions or problems that seemed insurmountable?
- What voices or perspectives were missing?
- Were there particular values we recognized as important?
