EDU 594: Teaching and Learning in the Outdoors

Teaching and Learning in the Outdoors is a 3 credit course taught through Northern Kentucky University. Participants will learn about the impact of outdoor education, available resources, and opportunities for engaging students in outdoor learning environments, such as school gardens, outdoor classrooms and field trips. 
This is a 7-week online course that runs from March 12 through April 27. 

This 3 credit graduate level course is designed to help educators, both formal and informal, enhance their understanding and ability to deliver high quality envrionmental education. 

Northern Kentucky University now offers a Micro-credential in Environmental Education. This course can be taken as part of the Micro-credential program or as a stand alone course. Participants can apply as a non-degree seeking graduate student.
