EcoRise: Teaching Sustainability with Repurposed Leather: Atlanta

Join EcoRise and Scraplanta for a hands-on upcycled materials crafting class!
Atlanta-Metro Area K–12 public school educators are invited to explore the exciting world of upcycled materials and learn how to incorporate sustainability into student projects in conjunction with the Southwest Airlines Repurpose with Purpose Goes to School Program**. Participating K–12 teachers will be provided free access to repurposed leather seats and other upcycled materials and eligible to receive up to $750 for student-driven upcycled materials projects through our Student Innovation Fund!
Teachers also receive full free access to EcoRise Sustainable Intelligence and Business of Social Good lesson resources, giving participants from district schools 200+ lessons they can use and modify to build environmental literacy with their students and promote social entrepreneurship.
The workshop runs December 7 from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM EST.
This EcoRise teacher workshop and accompanying resources are available to new and experienced EcoRise teachers in the Atlanta metro area at no cost thanks to the generous support of the MetLife Foundation.
