I have two degrees in the natural resources and currently run my own consulting company (wildlife habitat and public survey consulting). I also volunteer for local non-profits in teaching about wildlife and the environment.

I'm the Project Manager for the California Academy of Sciences' Environmental Literacy Initiative, where our aim is to provide high quality video-based science and environmental resources for educators nation-wide.

Passionate about educating youth on sustainable food systems and understanding the beauty of the natural world and protecting it.

Sarah is the founder of Everyday Explorers: Early Learning Center & Forest School in Cordova, AK near Prince William Sound and the Chugach National Forest. Our program is designed to get children outside & is inspired by the guiding principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach to early education.
