Yan holds a B.E. in Environmental Engineering (2006), a M.Sc. in Environmental Management (2009), and a Ph.D. in Science Education (2015). Her research interests include the assessment of environmental literacy, as well as the development of formal EE curriculum for K-16 and non-formal EE programs
