I am an artist and community organizer. I helped start and run the Wild Folk Learning Community. Wild Folk weaves together experiential, place-based learning, diverse mentorship, creative play, skill-based education, democratic decision-making, and collaborative community-building.
I am interested in social learning around urban sustainability issues. Projects include public engagement for a bicycle plan and a bus rapid transport system, education for sustainable mobility, developing public engagement around urban wetlands and ground water, and democratic governance.
I coordinate and plan hands-on professional development workshops for K-12 teachers around the country!
