I'm an experiential education writer and blogger on my blog, Outdoortopia.org - the go-to outdoor education blog and toolbox for creating a sustainable 21st Century future. I'm also the Program Director of a leading outdoor education center in Thailand.

A goal-oriented, motivated Biology graduate with extensive educational and professional experience in environmental biology research, wilderness instruction & first aid, and outdoor ministry leadership.

I was an elementary teacher at a Native American school and am now retired. I am starting a new life as a writer. I have always been an outdoorsman, lover of science and history. These will be the focus us my children's books. Summers I share books with children at Oregon parks.

I am a Masters of Science candidate at Antioch University New England in the Environmental Education program.

I Administer an Outdoor Environmental Education Program for K-12 students on Long Island, NY. We have two field sites with nature centers and also run field trips to local parks, beaches, schools and on Charter Fishing Boats. We are non-profit and State funded.
