Brent is an Program Coordinator at the Keystone Science School in Keystone, CO. Brent loves teaching students about their natural environment, and is especially passionate about teaching students about snow in the winter. Brent is a mountain enthusiast who enjoys skiing, hiking, and biking.
Shana Sandhaus is a research specialist and laboratory manager, holding an MS in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona. Her research interests involve evaluating the changes in efficacy, knowledge, and motivations before and after participation in citizen science programs.
Gord Sturrock is a faculty member of Douglas College located in British Columbia. Gord has a great deal of teaching and research experience within experiential education programs. His research focus is on the long-term effects of experiential programs related to active citizenship.
My research interest lies in the nexus of nature and human presence, especially of seemingly remote flora and fauna that are still affected by human activities. I seek to study the interactions and relationships among abiotic and biotic factors of islands and how to maximize ecosystem recovery.
