I am the founder and director of Juniper Hill School for Place-Based Education. I have taught both early childhood and elementary grades in both public and independent schools and been an educational leader for several non-profit organizations. I am a naturalist, motivational speaker, and dancer.

Founder / ED of Free Forest School whose mission is to nurture kids and empower adults by connecting to nature, culture and each other through outdoor play. Based in Minneapolis, Anna is passionate about convening community around nature play, traditional craft, outdoor adventuring and music.
