I’ve been teaching in the WMDEP since the winter of 2005. I also teach wilderness and recreation management courses on the campus of the University of Montana, College of Forestry and Conservation and at Salish-Kootenai College on the Flathead Indian Reservation.
I am a graduate student at Roosevelt University and teach high school science. I am also a co-chair for the Hoffman Estates Sustainability Commission.

I have my own school for K - 12 students, 100% outdoors in the East Bay hills of California: Outside School. Additionally, I have Teach Outside, a resource page for those interested in outdoor education. I also have a passion for motorsports, and am and EMT/firefighter at the track.
