I am currently an AmeriCorps member serving at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in the School Programs position. I am a recent graduate of Zoology at Ohio Wesleyan University. I love to share my knowledge of and passion for wildlife, their conservation, and many other aspects of nature.

I am interested in the impact of nature exposure on young children’s emotion regulation. I am also interested in environmental injustice and the prevalence of environmental injustice experienced by families living in adverse circumstances.

I'm Steffen Ciprina and currently doing my PhD in Geography Education in Bochum, Germany. My research interests are centered in the fields of location-based mobile learning in EE, ESD and Climate Change Education.
