Development education specialist with focus on culture-based multilingual education, ecological spirituality, and climate justice advocacy
I am an Environmental Enthusiast! I formally became immersed in the Environmental Community about 5 years ago. As Special Assistant at MAEOE, I utilize my Project Management (PMP), Communications/ Media Management, Education & Administrative experience to promote environmental awareness.
I direct Conservation Education and Science programs at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. I am especially interested in biodiversity and climate change education, participatory design, and best practices for enhancing and measuring impact.
I was a classroom teacher in Arizona for 13 years before joining the E3 as a Presenter in 2016. I hold a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and an BA in Political Science from UArizona. I assist with curriculum revision and new program development, and manage 2 teams across 10 programs at E3.
