As the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Lynchburg Water Resources, I engage an urban community in dynamic PreK-Adult Environmental Education. My role is to provide a bridge from the utility to the community, while providing programming to inspire citizens to engage in water conservation.

Executive Director of Havenwood Nature Schools

Shea grew up in the piney woods of East Texas and has lived across the US working with youth and at-risk teens from New York City to Los Angeles. Shea is an experienced Director with over 15 years in the world of Early childhood Education with 8 of those years focused on nature-based learning. Shea began her school career creating nature-based summer camp programs as well as teaching both Pre-k and Kindergarten nature-based classes before transiting to a director of schools. Shea became a co-founder of Havenwood Nature School in March of 2020 and is honored to serve as Executive Director of all school campuses.
