Eric Windhorst is currently a PhD student studying in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University in St. Catharines, ON, Canada. A trained counsellor and ecopsychologist, Eric is inspired by the complex connection between personal and planetary well-being.
Working on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the environmental movement for the past 15 years, I am the founder of the Center for Diversity & the Environment and the Environmental Professionals of Color. Currently, I am consulting and focusing on DEI in environmental philanthropy.
Graduate of Gettysburg College with B.S. in Environmental Studies (Conservation and Wildlife Biology). Avid birder and naturalist, worked for MassAudubon, Trustees of Reservations. Highly interested in science education for everyone.
