I'm a student in environmental education for phd degree
I am a 7th and 8th grade science teacher at Blue Hill Consolidated School in coastal Maine. My background is in wildlife and conservation biology and my goal as an educator is to make science exciting and accessible for my students. I do this by incorporating real world science as much as possible.
I work in External Affairs for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service covering sagebrush ecosystem communications for Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
I have been working in the field of outdoor/environmental education for the last 8 years. I am currently the Director of Outdoor Education at Nuhop in Perrysville, Ohio. My biggest goal is to get kids unplugged and back outside.
I am an alumna of Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut. I have my B.A. in Environmental Studies. Former Summer Education Intern at Fairmount Water Works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
