I am an environmental educator based in Taipei, Taiwan, with a background in both ecology and the humanities. I am interested in how environmental education can help people build meaningful relationships with the places and ecosystems around them—and how those relationships can grow into lasting environmental action.

My work spans environmental education, citizen science, biodiversity monitoring, volunteer training, habitat stewardship, and community engagement. I currently put much of this work into practice at Zhishan Cultural and Ecological Garden with the Wild Bird Society of Taipei, where I work with children, families, volunteers, and community members to explore and participate in urban nature.

Over time, I have become especially interested in what happens after an environmental education program ends. Many environmental initiatives begin with passionate individuals, but I believe lasting change happens when more people gain the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to participate themselves. This has shaped my approach to designing learning experiences that help people move from curiosity, to participation, and eventually to stewardship and leadership.

I also enjoy exploring connections between ecology and the humanities, and collaborating with cultural institutions and community partners to bring environmental learning into different spaces.

Through eePRO, I hope to connect with environmental educators from different places and cultural contexts, exchange ideas and experiences, and learn how communities around the world are creating environmental action that can continue and grow over time.
