My work experience in Mexico was as chemistry teacher and after my postgraduate degrees in environmental sciences in England I returned to Mexico to work at the Ministry of the Environment. There I was involved in the environmental performance review of Mexico done by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). In the San Francisco Bay Area I have worked as a consultant for a private firm and a NGO. These jobs took to work in projects in various countries of Latin America. It was particularly interesting to work in Peru where I helped to map relevant stakeholders for a minig company that wanted to operate in the Puno region of Peru. For the last 10 years I have developed and implemented an environmental science education program. I executed it in 7 elementary schools (private and public) in the East Bay. This program reached about 250 students of different levels from K to 6 grades. I designed around 150 lessons which improved environmental literacy of students. My environmental science education program included topics like climate change, energy, water and biodiversity.
