Experienced and visionary education leader with 15+ years of management experience spanning public and private sectors, combining strategic planning, instructional leadership, and relationship-driven community building. As a Science and Math Instructional Lead, I design and deliver data-directed curriculum that translates assessment results into targeted, standards-aligned instruction, driving measurable gains in student achievement. Beyond the classroom, I serve as Sustainability Chair for my school district, leading a cross-functional Sustainability Committee of community members, directors, and board members in embedding sustainable practices across school sites, work that earned our district a 2024 California Green Ribbon School distinction. At my own school site, I developed a student leadership training program and Green Team, and I extend that work district-wide by partnering with K-12 students to design and implement green initiatives at their own schools. I also founded and lead PVPUSD Community in ACTION, a partnership initiative with organizations like the Surfrider Foundation and West Basin Municipal Water District that gives teens hands-on water testing and research opportunities, alongside community partners PV School Gardens and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy who deepen students' connection to environmental stewardship.

My goal is to get students off screens and into the outdoors, where research consistently shows that children thrive - with lower stress levels and more meaningful engagement in learning. Kids need to touch, manipulate, collaborate, and problem-solve, and the outdoors provides the perfect foundation where learning happens naturally.
