Scott (he/him) is originally from the Chicagoland area and returned home to the Midwest after spending nearly a decade building his career in environmental education across Tennessee, California, and Pennsylvania. Along the way, he taught in national parks, residential outdoor schools, and nature centers, developing a passion for experiential learning and helping people build lasting connections with the natural world.

Today, Scott serves as the Group Camp Program Director for YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago's Camp Duncan, where he leads year-round outdoor education and retreat programming, recruits and mentors environmental educators, and partners with schools and community organizations to create meaningful outdoor learning experiences. His professional interests include experiential learning, challenge course operations, staff development, curriculum development, and expanding access to high-quality outdoor education.

When he's not at camp, you'll likely find Scott exploring a hiking trail, paddling a quiet lake, backpacking through the mountains, camping with friends, kayaking, swimming, snowboarding, or visiting one of America's national parks. He enjoys connecting with fellow educators and outdoor professionals who share a passion for conservation, environmental education, and helping others discover the outdoors.
