www.playinopenspaces.com My business is supporting human growth and development in the outdoors.  I do this through seasonal classes held entirely out of doors in a local park, using simple natural materials as provocations and encouraging journaling our experiences and observations.  I taught in the public school district for 17 years; I was inspired to take my classes outside and did not find support in that position.  I joined Tinkergarten in leading classes outside across for my area.  After 5 years with them, Tinkergarten was sold and rebranded so I created my own business which I named Open Spaces LLC to continue leading classes for families outside.  Even though I let my teaching license lapse, I continue to seek out and engage in continued education as if I had my license - training in Educaring (RIE by Magda Gerber), Nature Journaling with Wild Wonder Foundation, Natural Curiousity Indigenous Education in Early Childhood/Learning from the Land, and many more too numerous to list.
