Libby VanWyhe has been an outdoor educator since 2008 and has an M.S. in Environmental Education. For nine and a half years, she was the Nature Center Manager at North Mountain Park, which is part of Ashland Parks and Recreation. Her two greatest accomplishments have been conducting volunteer-led field trip program for grades K-5, and coordinating the funding and construction of a new Nature Play Area at the park.  Libby currently works for OSU Extension's Outdoor School Program, as their Southern Oregon Regional Coordinator.  Libby brings a wealth of experience in youth and adult education, standards-based outdoor inquiry, teacher PD in environmental education, and program administration.  Libby is passionate about outdoor experiences which improve eco-literacy and connect people to their bioregion through a blend of science and creativity.
