I am a passionate environmental educator currently working at Desert Botanical Garden as the Children's Education Manager. I have the priviledge of working on projects like our nature playspace, the Cactus Clubhouse, re-developing hands-on field trip experiences, early childhood programs and public programs. My background began with a love and interest in nature as a junior ranger with the Arizona State Parks and getting into science, insects and animals whenever possible. I received my BS in Biology with an emphasis in Environmental Science and a certificate in Environmental Education from Arizona State University. Previous roles have included museum education at Arizona Science Center and the Musical Instrument Museum where my love of science, education and community have overlapped to contribute to great connections with kids, team members and more.
