Working with the Green Girls Platform, she has used the space to influence community-based girls and young women on climate change and environmental management learning sessions, to help them understand the concept of climate change and environmental management and how they can be actively engaged as changemakers and innovators and not only seen as vulnerable groups. She has managed to reach out and train more than 200 women in 5 districts across Malawi. She has also used her platform working with UNICEF to reach out to adolescent girls in flood-prone areas of Malawi (4 districts) where 54 girls have been trained with the aim of creating a female-led but expertly guided engagement model for transformative climate change education that will help young women and girls deepen their understanding and amplify collective voices on various sectoral issues that affect them. My engagement with girls and young women pushed me to let the world understand the work that girls and young women are doing in addressing loss and damage associated with the effects of climate change through a blog which I published and can be accessed using the link: https://loss-and-damage-collaboration.webflow.io/pages/the-role-of-women-and-girls-in-addressing-loss-and-damage.

She is also a junior negotiator for climate change in Malawi following loss and damage since COP26. She is using the space to raise the voices of women and girls from vulnerable countries like Malawi and the urgency in meaningfully engaging women and girls at the decision making table as powerful stakeholders in addressing climate action.
