UN Ocean Decade: Ocean Science in Action
As we mark the midway point of the UN Ocean Decade (2021-2030) this year, United Nations Environment Programme is excited to share the ongoing digital campaign, “Ocean Science in Action” – an initiative designed to showcase the wide-ranging impact of our network of endorsed Actions, with a focus on concrete achievements.
Launched in February, this campaign will run throughout 2025. It features a series of articles and videos on priority ocean science topics, including coastal cities, the deep sea, women empowerment and a regional focus on Africa.
