Many teachers want to teach outside but have no time to plan it and no forest or nature area to use. This collection is built for that: every activity runs in an ordinary school yard, playground or patch of grass, with a printable lesson plan to take outside.

What's Included
Forty outdoor learning activities for children aged 4–12, grouped by age (4–6, 7–9, 10–12) and by type: scavenger hunts, math, English and writing, science, team challenges, and art and seasonal activities. There are also 12 ten-minute ideas that need no printing, and links to longer guides on outdoor math, writing and science.
