Canyon Field School @ Home curriculum-based, web content is produced as a collaboration between the nonprofit Grand Canyon Conservancy and the National Park service. Topics will include geology, ecology, human history, and dark skies. 

Our goal is to engage youth (grades 4-8) at home or in the classroom with curriculum-based, Grand Canyon-related STEAM content. We hope to inspire the next generation of public lands stewards, and entice children, parents, and teachers to participate in an in-person day tour or overnight camping experience in 2021 when we resume these activities following the 2020 COVID-related suspension in activities. 

Like many others, we at the Canyon Field School have canceled our in-person school groups for day tours and overnight camps through the end of 2020.

We are putting our efforts instead on our “Canyon Field School @ Home” e-learning platform, featuring curriculum-based activities and videos produced collaboratively with National Park Service educators.
