For Facilitators:

An introduction of this video could include the fact that it was produced by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and includes the voices of people who have worked on Climate Change for decades. I would use the first 7 or 8 minutes of this video – and follow its showing with 2 questions:

  • What evidence is shown that shows you that climate change is happening now ?
  • What are the causes mentioned in the video and what could YOU possibly do to reduce them?

Following individual thinking and jotting down responses, I’d ask small groups to pool their thinking and come up with their best collective answers.

  • Given the fact that we each live in different areas, what would you do with the learners you work with to engage them in using and thinking about this video?
