People of the Global Majority in the Outdoors, Nature, and Environment (PGM ONE) is an annual summit that convenes emerging and established professionals of color/the global majority who work in the environmental and outdoor movement to share, learn, collaborate, heal, celebrate, build community, find support, and sharpen their analysis of racial equity in their fields. An intentionally grassroots effort, PGM ONE is informed and designed by participants based on four pillars: celebrate and inspire eachother, dismantle silos and build community across identities, heal from experiences of otherness and exclusion, and empower each other with tools for cultural change.
