Environmental Education PhD Assistantship
Available Ph.D. position in Environmental Education at Virginia Tech.
Tuition and stipend included. Beginning August 2018.
Come work with a dynamic team of researchers exploring various facets of environmental education (EE). Studies include examining the factors that lead to the most powerful outcomes for EE program participants, the connections between ongoing EE initiatives, academic performance, and school culture, and innovative methods for reaching diverse audiences. Requirements:
Master’s degree in an environmental, education, social psychology, evaluation, or related field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A flexible and adaptive growth mindset and a strong desire to learn
Preferred: Direct experience in research design, data collection, analysis, and writing.
Preferred: At least a basic background and/or experience in statistics for research (SPSS)
