BINFluencers: Accepting Applications for Environmental Leadership Prorgam
About BINfluencers
As part of our climate change pillar, we have just launched the BINfluencers program, an initiative designed to empower young people to create impactful recycling campaigns addressing key environmental issues.
Participants will:
- Lead a 3-month campaign that addresses a recycling issue they’re passionate about.
- Receive mentorship from experts to help them develop their campaigns.
- Gain access to resources, like subject matter experts, to turn their ideas into actionable solutions.
- Work alongside five other peers to support one another's projects and build a supportive community.
- Receive a $250 micro grant to support their project.
To apply, participants must:
- Be 13–25 years old.
- Be a resident of: New Orleans or Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Dallas or Houston, Texas; LA County or Riverside, California.
- Have a recycling issue or challenge they're passionate about.
- Be available for bi-weekly group meetings and state-specific check-ins (virtual).
- Submit application by December 6, 2024.
