Come join The Whale Museum’s Gear Down Workshop for Marine Naturalists on Friday, October 20, 2023 virtually through Zoom sessions.

The workshop is an all day workshop going from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM PST. This workshop’s theme is Unusual & Changing Sightings Of Species In The Salish Sea! 

Invited presenters include:

• Erin Falcone, North Coast Cetacean Society, on fin, Bryde’s, & sei whales 
• Candice Emmons, NOAA, on SRKW and NRKW current distribution patterns and overlap     
• David Anderson & Laurie Shuster, Cascadia Research Collective, on dolphins in the Salish Sea 
• Kristin Wilkinson, NOAA, on beluga whales & rare pinnipeds & stranding network response 
• Dr. Adam Summers, University of Washington, on blue fin tuna
• Dr. Marianne Nyegaard, Auckland Museum, on mola (sunfish)

The registration fee is $35 for non-members; $25 for TWM or SSAMN members.
