Hog Island Audubon Camp

Sign up for a fun, educational, and truly memorable experience not to be missed, on a beautiful, spruce-covered island in Maine's Muscongus Bay.  The famed Audubon Camp in Maine opened its doors in 1936, when Roger Tory Peterson was the camp's first birdlife instructor. We are all about field biology and getting right into it...whether that be the rich intertidal zone, a trip out to see the restored Puffin and Tern colony on Eastern Egg Rock, exploring a pristine boreal forest, or looking at the stars and marine bio-luminscence at night.  We use art, science, journaling, photography, music, theatre and literature as methods, and our staff is both impressive and down-to-earth. CEU's available.
