Rita Sever, founder of Supervision Matters is a Certified organizational coach and has worked in human resources for over 25 years. Rita has served as an HR Director, received her M.A. in Organizational Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, and worked as a coach in organizations and with individuals for over 20 years. Through all her work she sees the tremendous impact of supervision—both positive and negative. Rita brings her understanding and experience of human resources, organizational psychology, and nonprofit systems to her work. Rita works primarily with nonprofit organizations, and she’s a part of the RoadMap Consulting Network, a national group of consultants committed to strengthening organizations and advancing social justice. Rita is the author two books including: Supervision Matters: 100 Bite-Sized Ideas to Transform You and Your Team and Leading for Justice: Supervision, HR, and Culture.
